Ingredients
30 g almond meal or 30 almonds and blend into flour
12-15 Medjoul dates (pitted) or 20 smaller dates (150g)
2 tbsp. organic cacao powder
2 tbsp. organic shredded coconut
2 tbsp. organic virgin coconut oil
zest from 1/2 organic orange
2-3 tbsp green tea (room temp)
1 scoop protein powder (White chocolate)
Process:
Blend the almond into a flour (20 sec full speed)
Chop the dates into 3 pieces each and put into the food processor, add the other ingredients.
Start with 2 tbsp. of green tea and blend it all together, if it is too dry add ½ tbsp green tea at the time and blend, it has to have a smooth consistency like a thick paste but not too wet. Place in the fridge for 30 min.
Mix 3 tbsp. shredded coconut with the zest from ½ an orange into at little bowl.
Roll the bites/balls with your hands and roll them into the mixture of coconut and orange zest.
Let them cool before serving and can last for 5-6 days in the fridge.
